Abstract
Starthilfe: Die Effizienz von Typ‐I‐Photoinitiatoren in der radikalischen Acrylatpolymerisation wird durch den Zusatz von NHC‐Boranen deutlich erhöht. Ein Wasserstoffatomtransfer auf die zunächst gebildeten Radikale R. (siehe Schema) erzeugt stark nucleophile NHC‐Boryl‐Radikale, die besser für den anschließenden Initiationsprozess durch Reaktion mit dem Monomer geeignet sind.
